When you first start using Squace, you have no bookmarks —
like when you start using a web browser for the first time.
To help you get started, we compiled a few packages that contain links to stuff we think you might like.

Take a tour
Why not take a quick tour? It explains how Squace works in five easy steps.
Navigation
My stuff is your personal Squace start page with links to your favorite sites and RSS feeds.
Each square represents a link.
- Move the cursor over squares, and pop-ups display the content behind them.
- Click on a heading to display a site.
- Use the Back button in the bottom-left corner to go back.
You can share the link with a friend and add it to My stuff (your start page) or to the Garage. The Garage is temporary storage at the bottom of the phone screen.
Select the small, bottom-right icon to return to My stuff. The icon also indicates when Squace is connecting.
Phone-web interactions
Squace gives you easy access to your account from a mobile phone or the web. You can access the same account via phone or web page, and as a result, all changes you do on the phone are seen on the web page.
When you return to the Squace web page on the same computer, you see that the link package you created is saved (if you don't delete your cookies). If you want to access Squace from another computer, click on Save this account and select user name and password.
If you want to enable web access to an account that you have only used on your mobile phone, then log in using a temporary web access code that is retrieved from your phone.
Finding content
It's easy to find new, exciting content in Squace. Just look for it and add it to your start page or Garage.
The bottom-left magnifying glass enables a text search. Type a search word and all results are displayed in a grid.
To find new links sorted by topic:
Click Tags to view your tags and the most popular tags used by other users.
The bottom row of the grid always contains new, interesting stuff. Click, for example, the first square called Discover content to display the latest Squace sites that were added.
Finding friends
Keeping your Squace contact list updated makes it very easy to stay in touch with your friends.
All your friends are displayed behind squares and sorted alphabetically under Contacts.
- Click the first square to add a new Squace contact. If a friend is not a Squace user, then he or she gets an invitation. You can also create groups of contacts.
- Select the Find tab to find out if your Gmail contacts are Squace users. After importing Gmail contacts, Squace users can be easily added to your contact list. Those who are not can be invited.
Sharing and messaging
Squace is all about sharing stuff among friends and colleagues.
- Click Share in the pop-up to Share a square, for example, when you find an interesting link or article.
- Select a contact (or a group), and the site is displayed in his or her inbox.
To send a message without sending a link:
- Go to the inbox, under Msg
- Click New to create the message.
- Select a contact and submit.
Before you can start sending messages you must provide your phone number or email address. Please follow the instruction in the phone.
